Founding Backing is for people who want to help a real operating technology company grow. The benefit is participation, recognition if you want it, visibility into the build and the satisfaction of helping create something before it is large.

The 10% commitment

Founding Backers help build InforHobby and seed career opportunity.

InforHobby reserves 10% of net qualifying Founding Backer receipts for the Career Opportunity Program. “Net qualifying” means money actually received after payment-processing fees, refunds and chargebacks.

The public $5,000 progress bar shows gross Founding Backer contributions after refunds/disputes. The Career Opportunity reserve uses reconciled net receipts so the number is not inflated by processor fees.

Career Sponsor payments are accounted for separately. Net Career Sponsor receipts are reserved for Career Opportunity Program purposes rather than ordinary InforHobby operating capital.
